Hat for Maid of Honor

This was among one of four hats I made for my bridal party and officiant for our wedding! This was the hat I made for my maid of honor, and we go back to middle school. We met when she was new to public school and the other kids didn't really like me, so I mostly hung alone. We still keep in touch to this day, and I was so happy she was able to be part of my wedding.

I knew I wanted to use this yarn, but I was also super inspired once I found this bird hat pattern. She keeps budgies, so the idea of a bird hat was super appealing to me. This was my first real colorwork project, actually.

This yarn was excellent to use. It glides so, so well, and it's so soft! I want to use it more, even if its colors are a bit limited.
